BootPerry.org is a project of Independent Texans, the only voter association in Texas seeking representation for the state’s approximately 5 million voters who identify as independent or as non-party aligned voters. We are Texans from across the spectrum who are tired of the “liberal v. conservative” political game that keeps ordinary citizens fighting with one another, while special interests and their puppets (like the full of hot air Rick Perry) steal the state blind.
Join us for all the fun in 2010 booting Rick Perry. Since one of the best features of Texas politics is the so-called Open Primary, our first chance to Boot Perry is in the March Republican Primary (early voting starts on February 16, election day is March 2), where slick Rick is running against two opponents — US Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison and Debra Medina. Your second chance (if Rick somehow wins the Republican primary) will be in the November general election. He will face the Democratic nominee for Governor and a Libertarian nominee.
It’s time for Texans to unite to boot Perry to the curb. Read our “Why the Boot” section for some of the many reasons why we think Texans should and will boot Rick Perry. Beyond that, though, we know that our state (and country, for that matter) desperately needs political reform – which is what Independent Texans is all about. We hope you will check us out after you’ve had fun giving the Governor as many licks as you wish!
PS Read all about us on our web site at: IndyTexans.org and, if you’re an independent voter (you vote for the person, not the party) sign up there to join our growing network across the state. We do not sell or trade our mailing lists!
